Loss Prevention Officers will cover the stores in an intelligent programmed format so as to ascertain a level of criminal activity. Information will be passed by the officer through the weekly paperwork audit which is analyzed by our operations team. Storewatch management will monitor and assess this information and start to target individuals and areas which cause most concern. Through procedures and effective training officers will identify theft in progress. As a result person or persons will be detained to answer to the crime committed within the store.

The officers will then start a process of exclusion and documented theft identification for future exposure to this individual. Should this person attempt at any time in the future to repeat or offend in the store the process will be much more effective. Once the investigation process is complete the whole package will be reported to the police. From this point one SWL Security officer will be tasked with criminal evidence trail and the outcome. Once this information is reported back to SWL Security head office, reports are sent to your loss prevention department to emphasize the level of activity that is ongoing in the stores concerned. From this an effective approach can be implemented to ensure a correct targeting of SWL Security services.
